How is UD studio different from other Hong Kong streaming providers?
Most Hong Kong providers (Studio One, Viva AV, DOM Studio) rent you the equipment and leave you to run it, so you have to bring your own technician. UD includes an on-site professional team that runs the entire stream for you as standard, over a 1 Gbps dedicated line plus a CN2 HK–China route that is ideal for events with Mainland viewers. If you already have an in-house production team, equipment-only rental may cost less; if you would rather just show up and go live, UD is the better fit.
How many people fit in the studio?
The 175 sq ft space (3.3m × 4.8m) comfortably holds 4–6 hosts and guests filming together. For larger audiences or full stage setups, we can move to a partner venue or run an on-location production, just mention this in your enquiry.
Is viewing stable for overseas or Mainland audiences?
Our 1 Gbps dedicated (non-shared) network keeps the uplink stable, and cross-border traffic runs over an optimised CN2 HK–China route, giving Mainland viewers far lower latency and packet loss than ordinary internet paths. We can also set up simulcasting to Mainland platforms such as Bilibili, Weibo, Douyin, and Kuaishou.
Can I bring my own equipment or run it myself?
Yes. If you bring your own mixer, extra cameras, or lighting, the UD on-site team helps integrate and test it; if you only want the venue and network, the team can stay on standby.
Do you support multi-platform simulcast?
Yes. One source can push to Facebook Live, YouTube Live, LinkedIn Live, X, Twitch, Bilibili, Weibo, Douyin, Kuaishou, and more. Protocols supported are RTMP and SRT; ask us for low-latency WebRTC or custom stream endpoints.
What are the cancellation and rescheduling terms?
The exact terms are set out in your contract. As a general rule, 14 business days’ notice allows free rescheduling, while cancelling within the final 7 business days incurs a fee proportional to the resources already committed.
